From Brazil to Texas Tech

My journey started in the beautiful country of Brazil, but life had bigger plans for me! I moved to the US during high school, and eventually made my way to Florida Polytechnic University, where I dove headfirst into the world of data analytics. Who knew numbers could be so exciting?

Making Waves in College

College wasn't just about hitting the books for me. As president of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), I discovered my superpower: empowering young girls to fall in love with STEM. There's nothing quite like seeing that lightbulb moment when someone realizes they can build, code, and create anything they set their mind to! ✨

When I wasn't busy changing the world one equation at a time, you could find me:

• Volunteering at the SPCA animal shelter (because every furry friend deserves love)

• Mentoring freshmen (been there, survived that, happy to share the wisdom!)

• Probably running on way too many energy drinks

The Great Adventure Begins

After graduation, I took a leap of faith and moved to Minnesota for my first tech role. Talk about a climate change! But the cold couldn't freeze my passion for giving back. I continued mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and became a Cloud Coach with BestPrep because, apparently, I can't stop myself from helping others succeed.

Texas, Here I Come! 🌟

Two years later, the Lone Star State called my name, and I couldn't resist! I landed my second tech role and decided to level up my skills even more. Along the way, I earned:

• Project Management Certificate from Google

• Product Manager Certificate from IBM

• Business Leadership Certificate from WGU

But wait, there's more! I couldn't help myself and dove into even more ways to give back:

• Completed the 100k Mentor Challenge with ProMazo in Minnesota (yes, even from Texas - mentoring knows no boundaries!)

• Joined the Outreach Committee for SWE Austin (because the mission to empower women in STEM never stops)

When I'm Not Changing the World...

You'll find me living my best life with my little family:

• Soaking up sunshine with my four-legged adventure buddy

• Getting cozy at home with my cats (they're excellent project managers, by the way)

• Making memories with my amazing husband

My Happy Place Activities

• Restaurant hopping (I'm basically a professional food critic now)

• Traveling (passport ready, wanderlust always activated!)

• Reading (currently accepting book recommendations!)

• Staying active (because balance is everything)

• Quality time with friends and family (the real MVPs of life)
